Get Inspired! EOTD feat Shy Guy

E per la serie 'Chi non muore si rivede!' eccomi qui di rientro da un paio di settimane out of town...

Sto lavorando ad alcune bozze e per non lasciare il blog abbandonato,vi mostro un look che avevo fotografato settimane fa, peccato che dalle foto non si noti la differenza (per quanto non abissale) tra i due ombretti...e anche stavolta un irriconoscibile Behemoth Aleguaras, sìì (vabbè, è colpa di un pelino di layering)!!

Non so da voi, ma qui pare che la primavera sia finalmente arrivata :)))
Oggi vi mostro un trucco molto semplice che ho realizzato un paio di giorni fa - ho scelto la canzone Misread dei Kings of Convenience perchè mi mette sempre di buonumore e ben si adatta a questo look 'fresco'.

Get Inspired! EOTD feat Darling Girl - A Beautiful Lie

Buon sabato!

Come vi dicevo ieri vi mostro un look molto veloce che ho realizzato con After You've Gone e Tainted Love (della collezione MILF - Matte I'd Like To Find), un viola profondo mat che mi ha conquistata per l'alta pigmentazione e sfumabilità.... purtroppo nella maggior parte delle foto risulta molto più chiaro per via della zona molto illuminata in cui ho scattato le foto ma non sono molto brava nell'editing ed ho deciso di pubblicarle comunque ....il contrasto con la matita verde teal sulla rima inferiore ha accentuato l'effetto freddo dato dall'argento ed il viola ed il tutto mi ha fatto pensare a A Beautiful Lie dei 30 Seconds To Mars...

Siate clementi! :P

As I was saying yesterday I'm going to show you a quick look I did with After You've Gone and Tainted Love (from the MILF - Matte I'd Like To Find collection), a mat deep purple that surprised me for its high pigmentation and blendability...unfortunately it looks much lighter than irl because of the overexposed area where I took the pictures but I'm not really good in photo editing and decided to post them anyway...the tealish green eyepencil on lower lashline has emphasized the cool effect given by the silver and purple combo....so it made me think of A Beautiful Lie by 30 Seconds To Mars...

Be merciful! :P

E questa invece, nonostante la iper sovraesposizione, la posto solo perchè mi piaceva la definizione dell'angolo interno inferiore :P

Get Depeche Mode Inspired! Eotd feat Walking In My Shoes

Ciao!

L'idea di questo look mi è venuta quando Robiwan ha chiesto qualche consiglio su come utilizzare Ariel della nuova palette Sleek Lagoon e mi sono detta: "Perchè non provare? Tra i millemila ombretti avrò di sicuro dei toni simili"...infatti! :P E poichè avevo in mente un bel rosso acceso (qui è uscito fuori corallo ma vabbè!) per Walking In My Shoes nella mia serie Depeche Mode Inspired... there you go!
Robiwan spero ti piaccia - non escludo un altro tentativo con un viola più scuro e satinato come Deep Water, confesso di non aver scartabellato troppo tra i miei viola (in più in foto sembra più chiaro) ma l'effetto mi pare buono...credo sia proprio uno dei miei look più riusciti (al diavolo la modestia)!

The idea for this look came to me when Robiwan asked for suggestions on how to use Ariel from the new Sleek Lagoon palette and I said to myself: "Why not to try? I'll surely have some similar shades among my thousands pigments"...yes indeed! :P And since I had in mind a bright red (though it turned out coral here!) for Walking In My Shoes in my Depeche Mode Inspired series...there you go!
Robiwan I hope you like it - I might try again using a darker and satin purple such as Deep Water instead, I honestly didn't dig much among my purple shades (plus it looks lighter in these pictures) but  the overall look seems to be pretty good...I guess it's one of my best looks (how modest)!

Get Inspired! Eotd feat Lucrezia's pigments - Please, please, please let me get what I want

Questo post oggi lo dedico a Lucrezia, una ragazza del forum minerale che frequento e che, tra altre, aveva partecipato al collettivo Zoeva - (Zoeva 2) - Sleek. E sì perchè, per via di una differenza nella spedizione, le ho chiesto se poteva semplicemente mandarmi dei samples di ombretti fatti da lei....samples che dire generosi  è veramente riduttivo! Yes because, since I was due some little money because of a higher shipping, I asked her if she could send me some samples of her homemade eyeshadows...well, calling them generous samples is not really enough! Get Inspired! EOTD feat Satellite Of Love

Vi propongo un altro look che stava per vedere lo struccante prima di essere completato e che poi, vista questa precedente esperienza, ho deciso comunque di completare e....mi è piaciuto tantissimo!! Al solito le foto non rendono giustizia (sono pessima, I know!) perchè i colori risultano più chiari e anche un po' insulsi -  ad esempio Cornucopia è un bellissimo arancio brunito con shimmer blu e si sfuma bene con Behemoth (che qualcuno stenterà a riconoscere!)...il risultato è stato davvero magico perchè mai avrei immaginato sarei riuscita a rendere le sfumature di uno dei tanti tramonti che riesco a godermi dalla finestra di casa... E poichè c'è un legame con il 'Get inspired' dedicato a Space Oddity, questo ho voluto dedicarlo alla bellissima Satellite Of Love...

Today I'm going to show you another look I was about to give up before finishing it, but this previous experience taught me that never say never so I went on and....I really liked it!! As usual pictures do not do any justice (I'm so bad, I know!) because shadows appear to be lighter and a bit of meh - e.g. Cornucopia is a gorgeous burnt orange with blue shimmer that blends well with Behemoth (someone won't be able to recognize it!)...the result was magical because I would have never thought I would have managed to transfer on my eyes those sunset shades I enjoy from home... Now since there's a connection with Space Oddity 'Get Inspired' I decided to dedicate this one to the beautiful Satellite Of Love...

Questo è un look che avevo in mente da un pochino di tempo (ovvero da quando è uscito uno dei miei ultimi tormentoni preferiti - Locked Out Of Heaven) e ieri finalmente l'ho realizzato...la prossima volta però proverò ad usare Boy With The Bread al posto di Bijou (più freddo)...ad ogni modo l'accostamento mi è piaciuto molto, enjoy!

This is a look I had in mind since quite some time (aka since one of my latest favourite smash hit - Locked Out Of Heaven - was released) and I eventually did it yesterday...but next time I'll try applying Boy With The Bread instead of Bijou (which is cooler)...anyway I really liked the combo, enjoy!

Avevo questo look nelle bozze da qualcosa tipo otto mesi o una cosa del genere (vergogna!), pensato per una collaborazione con Misato (sooner or later arriverà vero?! :P) e poichè oggi quel genio adorato di David Bowie compie gli anni mi sembrava l'ora di postarlo (mi riservo comunque la possibilità di proporne una versione alternativa ^_^).

I had this look in my drafts for something like eight months or something like that (shame on me!) which was supposed to be featured in a collaboration with Misato (it will happen sooner or later, right?! :P), now since today is that beloved genius' (whose name is David Bowie) birthday it was about time to post it (even though I might try a reloaded version ^_^). 

Inizialmente ero partita con un'altra idea, anzi un'altra ispirazione! Avevo in mente una canzone e volevo farci un trucco abbinando un carta da zucchero (Paris) ad un bronzo caldo...poi mi sono guardata attorno ed ho pensato che Marrakesh (che bronzo non è, lo so!) potesse andar bene...vi dirò, inizialmente l'abbinamento non mi convinceva, tanto più che Marrakesh sì risaltava splendidamente sullo stick Kiko, ma mi sembrava non legasse così bene con Paris, tant'è che ero sul punto di prendere lo struccante! Stavolta la mia pigrizia mi ha premiata: ho deciso di salvare capra e cavoli come potevo e così ho pensato di applicare Kenya come 'legante'....bè il look si è decisamente trasformato! Mi ha fatto quindi pensare ai pianeti e da qui l'idea di abbinarlo a Space Oddity....<3 <3 <3 <3

I started with another idea, another inspiration! I had in mind a song and wanted to make a look pairing a muted light blue (Paris) to a warm bronze...then I digged my stash and thought Marrakesh (which is not bronze, I know!) might have worked well...you know what, at the beginning I wasn't sure about this combo - Marrakesh was showing up great over Kiko's shadestick but it seemed not to match that well with Paris and I was ready to grab my make up cleanser but....my laziness saved me: I decided I would have tried to save this look somehow so I went for Kenya as transition shade between the two and.....well, it changed completely! It made me think of planets, that's why I decided to pair it with Space Oddity.... <3 <3 <3 <3

Buon 2013!

Questo è il primo look dell'anno che ho realizzato, avevo in testa da qualche giorno It's Raining Men (chissà perchè...) ed ecco quello che ne è uscito fuori - peccato che in foto i colori siano slavatissimi, dal vivo molto più brillanti (vi basti pensare che Vanity è il classico blu puffo - che sul giallo è diventato verde acqua e vabbè - e Jerrica un giallo sole...tristezza!)

Here's my first look of the year, these days I had in mind It's Raining Men (who knows why...) and that's what I came up with - just a big pity colors look soooo faded, way more vibrant in real life (just so you know Vanity is the typical Smurf blue - here was applied over yellow so it turned out aqua marine - and Jerrica is a sun yellow....so sad!)

5 Shades Of Christmas & Friends - Ice, Ice Baby!

Seraaaa!

Sono quasi fuori tempo massimo per partecipare a questa bellissima iniziativa di A Lost Girl (Loves make up!), Soffice Lavanda, Golden Vi0let, A Colourful Mess e Shopping and Reviews - avrei voluto aderire già da un po' ma il tempo non permetteva foto decenti (infatti credo lo rivedrete prossimamente sperando in luci migliori)...purtroppo neanche questa è un granchè, l'ho scattata con luce artificiale: può sembrare un look piatto, il fatto è che trattandosi di colori non molto accesi il gioco di sfumature è andato a farsi benedire :( Inutile dire che è stato impossibile fotografare le labbra, trattandosi di un lucidalabbra 'my lips but better'...insomma se mi passate la citazione 'Così è se vi pare!'
Trattandosi di look abbastanza frosty l'associazione (solo a livello di nome) con la canzone di Vanilla Ice mi sembrava azzeccata per dargli un titolo...

Sono tornata con uno smokey che più facile di così non si poteva (anche se chiedo già venia per le foto che non rendono assolutamente - il fatto è che adesso che sono tornata dai miei - si spera non per molto! - devo capire quali sono zona e orario migliori per scattare le foto) - ho voluto rispolverare qualche ombretto Meow, soprattutto in caso di qualche acquisto prossimo dato che sono tornate le collezioni dedicate ad Halloween, tra le più belle a mio parere! Accident mi ha fatto davvero penare: su base bronzo scuro (Metall of Honor di Catrice <3) ha anche dei riflessi caldi, sul rame, ma in foto appaiono solo tendenti al rosso-viola... sappiate comunque che è bellissimo!
....E dopo aver saputo che i Foo Fighters hanno annunciato un lungo stop (noooooooooooooo!!) mi sembrava adatto l'abbinamento a Rope... enjoy!

Holaaaaaaa!!!

I'm back with one of the easiest smokey looks ever (please be kind with me: pics do not do any justice - since I'm at my parents' house - hopefully not for long time! - I still need to find the best place and time to take pictures) and just wanted to go back at some Meow eyeshadows - mainly because I might consider some purchasing since their Halloween collections (among the most beautiful ones) are back. Accident was a real pain in the back: over a dark bronzey base (Catrice's Metall of Honor <3) it shows some warm, coppery sheen but on pics it just shows as reddish-purple... just be aware it's gorgeous!
...And after I heard Foo Fighters  announced a long break (nooooooooooooo!!) I thought I'd pair this look to Rope... enjoy!

Get Inspired! Eotd feat Aleguaras - Breathe

Look di stasera (anzi dovrei dire ieri) per lo spritz - in realtà non era questo che avevo in mente per la piega ma non avevo molto tempo (nè la voglia ad essere onesta!) di rifarlo e così ci ho aggiunto un po' di Prince Ali per migliorare un po' la situazione...che ve ne pare? Ho abbinato Breathe, canzone che mi piace un sacco e mi mette di buonumore, mi fa pensare all'estate...

Look for tonight's aperitif (well I should say yesterday) - it actually wasn't what I had in mind for the crease but didn't have much time (and wish to be honest!) to remake it so I added a bit of Prince Ali to improve the whole thing... what do you think? I paired it with Breathe, a song that I love and that puts me in a good mood, makes me think of summer...
