Get Inspired! Eotd feat Don't Believe In Love

L'idea di questa combinazione l'ho presa guardando una puntata di Private Practice dove Violet indossava un abito lavanda scuro ed una cintura rossa molto simile al Red Explotion, sarò pazza ma l'abbinamento mi colpì molto! Godetevi Don't Believe In Love.

I took this combo idea watching a Private Practice episode where Violet was  wearing a dark lavender dress and a red belt quite similar to Red Explotion, crazy I know but it really caught my attention! Enjoy Don't Believe In Love

Nyx Round Lipsticks, Tinted Lip Spa & Round Lipgloss (mini review & swatches)

Round Lipsticks


Uno dei fiori all'occhiello della Nyx a mio parere.... prezzo irrisorio, varietà infinita di colori, scriventi e morbidi (ok inci a parte!).... qui la wishlist cresce e cresce...


Another Nyx top product.... great value, super wide color range, pigmented and creamy (well Inci is not good but whatever!)... my wishlist keeps growing...

Tinted Lip Spa


Io ne sono decisamente innamorata (infatti li ho presi quasi tutti)....vengono definiti burrocacao colorati ma la scrivenza è simile a quella dei rossetti, privi di shimmer e morbidi nell'applicazione...però li sconsiglio a chi non sopporta l'effetto mentolato...durata media. 


I'm in love with these ( I almost collected all of them)... they're called tinted lip balms but they're almost as pigmented as lipsticks, don't have shimmers and glide well on lips... I don't recommend them to those who can't stand minty flavour (tingly effect)...medium staying power.

Round Lipgloss

Another great product...pigmented and non sticky... these are the small ones:

Il Cafè Latte merita una nota a parte: è il nude perfetto che non rende le labbra smorte per via di finissimi shimmer dorati che riscaldano il colore! Davvero stupendo e molto pigmentato! 


Cafè Latte deserves a special note: it's that perfect nude that doesn't make you look like a corpse thanks to those tiny golden shimmers that warm up the shade! It's really gorgeous and very pigmented!


Ps: cercherò di ripostare questi swatches ma sulle labbra, così potrete farvi un'idea migliore!

Jumbo Eye Pencils (Yellow - White)


Ottime come base e a prezzi davvero accessibili...all'inizio ero davvero scettica e invece durano persino su palpebre cadenti come le mie :O Ne ho diverse in wishlist ma per ora dubito riuscirò a prenderne altre, mi consolo con i Long Lasting Kiko ;)


Awesome as eye base and great value... at the beginning I was pretty skeptical but they surprised me, they work even on my hooded eyes :O I have several on my wishlist but for now I doubt I'll be able to get some, I'm cheering up with Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks ;)

Skin Eyeshadow Base


Ho voluto provare anche la base - avrei voluto prendere quella bianca ma al momento dell'acquisto su Love-Makeup c'era solo la Skin e quindi... non ho riscontrato grosse differenze tra questa e l'All Over Cover Stick della Elf (la mia prima base), anzi forse regge addirittua un pelino meno...l'ho usata pochissimo, forse dovrei fare un altro tentativo...


I wanted to try their base as well - I would have liked to take the white one but when I purchased it at Love-Makeup there was only the Skin one, so... Didn't find many differences compared to Elf All Over Cover Stick (my first base), I guess it even creases faster...used it just a few times, I should probably give it another try...

Nyx Ultra Pearl & Chrome Eyeshadows (mini review & swatches)

Stasera vi propongo gli ombretti in polvere libera che possiedo a marchio Nyx  - se non ricordo male (quanto meno gli Ultra Pearl) sono veri minerali.

Tonight I'm going to show you all the Nyx loose eyeshadows I own - if I'm not wrong (but I'm sure about Ultra Pearl, at least) they're all real mineral ones.

Ultra Pearl Eyeshadow


Onestamente non c'è molto da dire (l'Iced Mocha da taaante soddisfazioni! :P), si comportano come gli altri ombretti in polvere libera, l'unica pecca è che bisogna travasarli perchè il collo della boccetta è troppo stretto ed è impossibile prelevare direttamente.

Honestly there's not much to say (Iced Mocha makes me so happy! :P), just like all loose eyeshadows, the only con is that you need to pour them cause the little bottle's neck is too narrow so it's impossible to take it directly from there.

Chrome Eyeshadow


Ne possiedo solo uno, si presenta in jar quadrata da 5 gr ed ha un finish metallico, stupendo per l'estate ma anche per i classici look autunnali!

I own just this one, it comes in a squared 5 gr jar and has a metallic finish, gorgeous for summer as well as for those classical fall looks!

Altra palette stupenda, scrivente (soprattutto i colori più forti), altro must per chi ama i verdi o la vedrei molto adatta alle rosse... Secret World
NB: non si vede bene l'ultimo colore a destra in seconda fila, si tratta di un illuminante verde salvia chiarissimo con qualche glitter 


Another gorgeous palette, good pigmentation (especially darker shades), another must have if you love green or would suit redheads... Secret World
PS: last shade on the right, 2nd row, is barely visible, it's a super light sage green highlighter with some glitter

The Caribbean Collection


Ecco I dream of Antigua, palette bellerrima sui toni del blu (si è capito che l'adoro??!), i colori sono tutti molto scriventi (lo swatch  - come tutti gli altri - non ha base), un must per chi ama i blu, la consiglio alle more con occhi scuri come me, dona uno sguardo magnetico, ho fatto uno smokey eyes da paura per una serata a teatro con il mitico Gassman (se doveste avere l'occasione ve lo consiglio caldamente)! 
Il primo colore a sinistra non è bianco, bensì un azzurro chiarissimo che funge da illuminante.


Here we go with I dream of Antigua, super duper blue toned palette (did you get I love it??!), shades are all extremely pigmented (swatch - as I usually do - has no base), get it if you love blue, I suggest it to those with dark hair and brown eyes like me, it gives you a magnetic look, I did a gorgeous smokey eyes when I went to the theatre to see Alessandro Gassman play.
First shade on the left is not white, but a light azure - great as highlighter.

Nyx Triple eyeshadows (quick review & swatches)

Qualche anno fa mi era presa la febbre per Nyx, marchio di cosmetici low cost quasi onnipresente nei blog e video americani, e così ho acquistato un po' di cosette su www.love-makeup.co.uk e www.cambree.de (qui solo con collettivi perchè le spese di spedizione sono davvero alte!)...adesso Nyx ha aperto un negozio online anche europeo, quindi va da se che sugli altri siti i prezzi sono aumentati...l'opzione più economica resta ebay ma io non ho esperienza a riguardo...

A couple of years ago I got mad for Nyx, a low cost American make up brand that you can find here and there on American blogs and videos, so I bought some suff on www.love-makeup.co.uk and www.cambree.de (just with collective orders because shipping rate is really high!)... now Nyx has opened an online European store too, so prices on other websites increased... the cheapest option is ebay but I have no experience about it...

preso non solo sull'onda emotiva di provare colori neutri - infatti è perfetto per i look quotidiani e sobri - e poi perchè da innamorata di Oscar Wilde un trio con questo nome non potevo non prenderlo!


Dandy - taupe - white - chocolate brown (satin/mat)
I chose this not only because at the time I had a crush on neutral shades - it's pefect for those daily and office friendly looks indeed - but also because I love Oscar Wilde so couldn't help getting this with such a name!

Hippie-Chic - bianco shimmer e glitteroso - verde acqua - lilla (glitter/shimmer)
molto bello anche questo, l'unico colore che non mi soddisfa granchè è il bianco per via dei glitter (risulta un po' farinoso), altrimenti è un bel trio, dà un'aria sofisticata...

this one is very beautiful as well, the only color that doesn't get much love from me is white because of the glitters (is kinda chalky), otherwise it's a good trio, gives you a sophisticated look...

Il blu del riflesso è più veritiero - The reflected blue is the most true to life

Il blu tende più all'elettrico in realtà - Blue leans more on the electric side

Team Spirit - blu pervinca - giallo dorato - fuxia scuro (satin/shimmer)

appena ricevuta la palette e guardando i colori ho pensato: "Ma come li abbino?!" e invece sono proprio contenta dell'acquisto! In più tutti i colori sono molto scriventi.

as soon as I got this palette and looking at the colors I thought: "How shall I combine them?!" but I was actually pretty satisified with this purchase! All the shades are very pigmented.

Get Inspired! Eotd feat Darling Girl - Stand

Avevo in mente questo look da tantissimo tempo....ho preso spunto dai colori del video della bellissima Stand di Lenny Kravitz

I had this look on my mind since quite long time...I got my inspiration from the colors from the videoclip of the beautiful song Stand by Lenny Kravitz

...mi sono resa conto dopo che cambiando il colore di eyeliner da rosso a blu o turchese potrebbe essere una versione portabile del classico trucco alla Cleopatra :P

... I realized, after, that if I change eyeliner color from red to blue or turquoise it might me a portable version of Cleopatra's make up :P
